Juliet Van Wagenen is the Assistant Editor at Avionics and Via Satellite. She has a strong background in journalism and has been working as a reporter and editor in various capacities for the last five years. As a member of Access Intelligence’s Aerospace Group, Juliet is responsible for curating content across the aerospace industry, writing and editing news articles and managing web and social media content. Juliet holds a bachelor’s degree in writing from the University of Pittsburgh.

James Collett is Director, Mobility Services Product Management at Intelsat and in this role has responsibility for profitably positioning, developing and growing Intelsat’s Mobility Services product line, ensuring that Intelsat continues to be a leading provider of managed services and space-only solutions to the maritime, aeronautical and government sectors. Leading a group of product and sector management specialists, his team aims to reinforce and grow Intelsat’s strong position in the broadband mobility market. Previously Mr. Collett had a thirteen year career at Inmarsat where he held a number of senior management positions including responsibility for maritime, land, aeronautical and government market development, and for the global sales delivered through Inmarsat’s global network of distribution partners (DPs). Prior to joining Inmarsat Mr. Collett was General Manager of Codan UK, and in this role was responsible for the EMEA sales of HF radio solutions and VSAT hardware to a wide range of commercial and government organizations operating in rural and remote locations. Mr. Collett holds a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Manchester and at the outset of his career spent eight years in various sales roles in the polymers industry.
Steve Moses is the Director of Product Management at VT iDirect, and is responsible for guiding the strategic direction of iDirect’s aero solutions. In this role, Mr. Moses manages iDirect’s aeronautical product offerings where he coordinates the development and marketing of iDirect’s portfolio of hardware and software.
Mr. Moses joined iDirect in 2010 and held several senior product management roles guiding iDirect’s remote portfolio. He assisted customers and integrators across the globe with product selection and development for advanced satellite communications infrastructure.
Prior to joining iDirect, Mr. Moses held product management and support roles in companies such as Mobileaccess, Lucent and UUNet, and has worked in the communications industries for over 15 years, spanning a wide range of technologies.
Mr. Moses holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech.
As president and CEO of Phasor Inc., David Helfgott has the responsibility for the company’s strategic direction, to drive the development of its new & revolutionary Electronically Steerable Antenna (ESA) products and technology, and to implement its operational programs. As a 20-year industry veteran, he has extensive experience in satellite broadband, mobile telecommunications and commercial & Government SATCOM Networking services. Mr. Helfgott has held leadership positions at Inmarsat, Cobham, DataPath and SES. He holds a BA Degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Darden School.
